Please be aware that we have received a notification of a TTRN (emergency) road closure at Hewish Gates, West Crewkerne which commenced on 25th September 2025 – 3rd October 2025 (23:00-05:30) for a total of 9 nights.
This will enable Network Rail inspection works to be carried out.
The contractor has indicated that access for Emergency Services through the site is not permitted on this occasion.

Date Change – Temporary Road Closure: Dunsham Lane, West Crewkerne and Wayford
Please be aware that we have received notification of a date change to a temporary road closure at Dunsham Lane, West Crewkerne and Wayford for approximately 216 metres.
The new date for the works to commence is 30th June 2025 and is expected to last until 4th July 2025 between the hours of 00:00 – 23:59.
These works are for Wessex Internet to install fibre cables.
