West Crewkerne Parish Council
West Crewkerne is a civil parish and includes the hamlets of Woolminstone and Henley. Crewkerne is a town and electoral ward in Somerset, England, that lies on the River Parrett. It is approximately 9 miles south west of Yeovil in the South Somerset district and close to the Dorset border. Crewkerne railway station is served by South Western Railway on the main south western railway line. The town is the birthplace of many notable people and has varied cultural and sporting facilities. Local ecological sites include the Bincombe Beeches Local Nature Reserve and the Millwater biological Site of Special Scientific Interest.
