Welcome to the Parish Council website devised to reach the sparsely populated Autumn Leavesparish of West Crewkerne consisting of 631 residents, according to the 2011 Census, of which approximately 460 are registered voters, accommodated in some 289 dwellings, owning 1.9 cars per household, spread through the Hamlets of Clapton, Hewish, Woolminstone, Roundham, and Henley Manor, in an area bounded by the B3165 in the South, and A30 road in the North, and between Crewkerne Town in the North East, and Wayford in the South West.

Parish Council notices are normally displayed on the Clapton & Wayford Village Hall Notice Board, butWe hope you like the look of our new website. We also see this as another way that you can tell us your views and share your ideas. You can do this through the ‘Contact' section of the website - try it out and let us know what you think. with a limited readership, the council decided to jump into the 21st Century with a website to disseminate council business in a more modern way. Additionally we will try to keep up to date with our Parish news and events, particularly at our only amenity, the Clapton and Wayford Village Hall.
